The tribe has spoken! Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains wins the night with 2.8 million viewers

Last night, 2.8 million Canadians tuned in to the dramatic season finale of Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains where Sandra Diaz-Twine (originally of the villains tribe) was crowned the sole survivor for a second time – a first for the series. The much buzzed-about, three-hour conclusion won the highly-competitive night nationally and across all key markets. Yesterday’s finale peaked with 3.5 million viewers at 9:04 p.m. ET and nearly 6 million Canadians tuned in at some point during the broadcast.

After another season as a consistent Top 10 performer, Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains did not disappoint. In the gripping two-hour finale, the five remaining survivors – Colby Donaldson, Jerri Manthey, Russell Hantz, Parvati Shallow and Diaz-Twine – fought for their chance to win the million-dollar prize. Following the last tribal council, the entire season 20 cast rejoined host Jeff Probst for the live, one-hour reunion show.
