Buckle up, movie fans, and get ready for the hottest event of the summer… Hollywood Suite’s BOX OFFICE BONANZA! A star-studded collection of #1 films will air every night from June 1 to August 31, and Franchise Fridays will kick-start every weekend.
“From the high-octane action of Top Gun to Oscar Winners such as On Golden Pond and Funny Girl, we’ve got something for everyone,” said Sharon Stevens, Vice-President Programming, Hollywood Suite. “Our viewers look forward to this event every summer and they are not going to be disappointed with this year’s crop of crowd-pleasers.”
BOX OFFICE BONANZA kicks off with Grease (1978) on June 1, with other June highlights including West Side Story (1961), Airplane! (1980), Space Jam (1996) and Gone Girl (2014).
In addition to the nightly movie selections of box office toppers, each weekend will kick off with Franchise Fridays beginning with the Spider-Man series on June 4. Other featured Franchise Friday programming includes:

July 30: The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day
August 6: The Mummy, The Mummy Returns
August 13: The Karate Kid, The Karate Kid Part II, The Karate Kid Part III
August 20: Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers
August 27: The Amazing Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Can’t get enough Will Smith? As part of BOX OFFICE BONANZA, Hollywood Suite is also serving up a Will Smith Weekend featuring some of the star’s most exciting films. The Pursuit of Happyness, and both the Men in Black and Bad Boys series, will air June 25 to 27.
And if you love The Expendables series, the Rocky films, and the Rambo collection, Hollywood Suite is the place to be this July! In honour of Sylvester Stallone’s birthday on July 6, Stallone Week runs July 2 to 8. In addition to the previously mentioned franchise films, this stunt will also include one-and-done favourites like Cliffhanger, Cop Land, Tango & Cash and Demolition Man.
