Makeful TV Shines Bright with British Jewelry Making Competition Series, All That Glitters, Hosted by Canadian Comedian and Actor, Katherine Ryan

It’s time for Canadians to get their bling on with a sparkling new gem of a show, All That Glitters (6×60’), a British competitive jewelry making series coming to Makeful TV this October. Hosted by the London-based, Canadian comedian and actress Katherine Ryan, alongside two of the biggest and most respected jewelry designers as esteemed judges, Shaun Leane and Solange Azagury-Partridge, the glittering program follows eight talented, aspiring jewellers as they compete inside a magical workshop to demonstrate they have what it takes to shine in the dazzling world of jewelry design. Each week the up-and-coming jewellers will compete head-to-head in two challenges exploring wildly diverse styles and aesthetics while working with raw materials that are amongst the most valuable on earth: gold, silver, diamonds and sapphires, to create beautiful bestselling pieces and bespoke works of art for real people. Every episode will see one aspiring contestant leave the competition until one brilliant jeweller is left to take home the title of Britain’s Next Jewelry Star. Who will pour their heart and soul into all they create and shine the brightest? The Canadian broadcast premiere of All That Glitters airs Monday, October 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Makeful TV.

Alongside the dazzling jewelry competition element, the six-part series also dives deep into the science, history, and culture of jewelry, everything from molecular structures and Ancient Egyptian charms to current red carpet styles.
