New Six-Part Feel-Good Series, Jay’s Yorkshire Workshop, Will Engrave Canadian Hearts and Homes as Part of Makeful TV’s Nationwide Free Preview Event

Makeful TV’s charming new series Jay’s Yorkshire Workshop (6×60’) will embrace Canadians this winter by spreading warmth, resilience, generosity and human kindness for its audiences. The Repair Shop’s fan-favourite Jay Blades embarks on a special project, opening the doors of his workshop in Bradford, England to three of the best fine furniture makers from across the region Saf Fakir, Isabelle Moore and Ciarán Ó Braonáin who create stunning designs each week from scratch. In every episode, members of the public nominate and reward local unsung heroes with a bespoke, handmade piece of wooden furniture to recognize the work they do for their community, often going above and beyond. Making the personalized gifts with the experts are six passionate woodworkers from the surrounding area, who have all come to learn from the mentors they’re teamed with and working alongside. Each of them has a personal reason for participating and the series explores their lives while following how they go about creating the items, learning on the job and unlocking their potential. The Canadian broadcast premiere of The Jay’s Yorkshire Workshop airs Wednesday, February 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Makeful TV, during the channel’s eight-week nationwide free preview event running from January 31 to April 3 across 8.1 million Canadian households.
