Where the World Connects: BNN Provides In-Depth Coverage of Milken Institute Global Conference, April 29 – May 1

BNN delivers a front-row seat inside the annual Milken Institute Global Conference, where the world’s leading thinkers, visionaries, and decision-makers converge in search of innovative solutions to the world’s most critical issues. Airing April 29 – May 1 on HEADLINE WITH HOWARD GREEN, BNN provides a window into the thought-provoking forum that examines a broad range of topics including finance, public policy, medicine, entertainment, environmental sustainability, and emerging technologies, providing a glimpse into the future of these industries and their impact on humanity.

Throughout the Conference, BNN will provide interviews with a range of extraordinary international business leaders including T. Boone Pickens, founder of BP Capital and one of America’s best-known entrepreneurs; and Italian economist Mario Monti, who served as Italy’s Prime Minister from 2011-2013 in the wake of the Italian debt crisis.

“We are proud to offer viewers access to this remarkable annual event that assembles the world’s top thought leaders to address the core issues facing our world,” said Jack Fleishmann, General Manager, BNN. “It is critical that our viewers are aware and informed of the ideas being shared and discussed as they will unquestionably fuel future business and innovation.”

In its 17th year, the Milken Institute Global Conference brings together the world’s senior leaders with the minds and the means to create positive action in a forum that encourages debate, collaboration, and innovation. This year’s wide-ranging panel topics include the future of Wall Street, the promise of impact investing, and Africa’s emerging energy landscape. Some of the inspiring and extraordinary speakers slated to appear at the conference include Tony Blair, Deepak Chopra, Steve Case, Matt Damon, Bill Simon, and Charlize Theron.

Viewers hoping to keep up with developments can watch HEADLINE WITH HOWARD GREEN weekdays at 5:00 p.m. ET on BNN and on-demand at BNN.ca.
