Starting Thursday, Feb. 4 The Comedy Network teams IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMETRI MARTIN with THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM for a super-important, outrageous hour. Season 2 of IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMETRI MARTIN gets “things” started at 10 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Season 3 of THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
In previous seasons, an average audience of 100,000 viewers enjoyed the “things” that Martin and Silverman had to say.*
Season 2 of IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMETRI MARTIN mixes stand-up comedy, sketches, animation, studio bits and music to explore one “important thing” per episode. This new season introduces such topics as Attention, Ability, Strategy, Money and “2”.
A half-hour later, viewers learn that “The Proof is in the Penis” in the season premiere of THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM. Laura wants Sarah to “man-up” and start taking responsibility for her life, so she falsely informs her that she was born a hermaphrodite. Sarah accepts her manhood and decides to move into the woods and live off the land. Meanwhile, Brian and Steve are haunted by Mr. Jenkins and dig up his grave to replace the remote that killed him.
