The Comedy Network Unveils the Top Ten Candidates for the BEST SUMMER JOB EVER!

It’s official: Canadians don’t like jobs that suck. Today, The Comedy Network has announced the Top 10, shortlisted candidates for the BEST SUMMER JOB EVER! More than 1,500 applications were tweeted from coast to coast to be the official voice of @comedynetwork…but only one social media superstar will land the “Comedy Insider” gig. The successful candidate will be announced Tuesday, June 21 at thecomedynetwork.ca.

The Comedy Network’s first ever “Comedy Insider” will be the social media voice of the network for the months of July and August, 2011. They also get paid to watch TV and go see some live comedy. Far from a glorified summer internship, THE BEST SUMMER JOB EVER includes the use of a furnished apartment in downtown Toronto and the exclusive opportunity to work full-time at the funniest office in the country: The Comedy Network headquarters at 299 Queen Street West.

They tweeted. They Tumblr’d. They begged and pleaded on YouTube. Canada, behold the Top Ten BEST SUMMER JOB EVER finalists:
