Season 4A attracted an average of 170,000 viewers (A18-49) and was the most-watched season of TOSH.0 ever. Shame-starved viewers can rejoice and stay-tuned for the series premiere of the brand new half-hour extreme game show TOTAL BLACKOUT, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Hosted by Jaleel White (DANCING WITH THE STARS, FAMILY MATTERS), TOTAL BLACKOUT finds contestants battling each other and their fears in a series of challenges…in complete darkness. There are no lights, no blindfolds and no-holds barred as the players face their anxieties and unexpected surprises in a series of nerve-wracking games.

Always topical, TOSH.0 delves into the ridiculous that has come hand in hand with the popularity of viral videos. The series features viral clips of the week and original videos created by and starring well-known actors and comedians. Each episode also features the segment “Web Redemptions” which gives subjects of infamous viral videos a chance to redeem themselves.
In the series premiere of TOTAL BLACKOUT, “Entering the Darkness,” contestants Awett, Chynna, Marq and Patrick must identify objects in tanks solely by touch, classify edible items served on the belly of humans solely by taste and distinguish four items behind glass solely by their sense of smell.

All of this must be done in total darkness.

Contestants Chellena, Cliff, Irina and Justin must identify items using only their tongues, clear three imaginary limbo sticks they think will tase them if touched and identify items being poured into a tub.
