CTV Life Channel: Jamie Oliver and childhood friend Jimmy Doherty welcome British comedian Joe Lycett on an all-new episode of JAMIE & JIMMY’S FOOD FIGHT CLUB on Monday, Jan. 25 at 9 p.m. ET. Lycett has always dreamed of having the culinary skills of an Italian nonna, so the duo help grant his wish by teaching him to make traditional wild boar and pappardelle ragu.
CTV Sci-Fi Channel: Starring Alan Tudyk (Rogue One, FIREFLY) oddball drama series RESIDENT ALIEN debuts Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 10 p.m. ET. The series follows Harry (Tudyk), a crash-landed alien with a secret mission to kill all humans who takes on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor. As he assimilates, Harry begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission, and ask the big life questions like: “Are human beings worth saving?” and “Why do they fold their pizza before eating it?”.
CTV Throwback: Seasons 1 and 2 of drama THE CLIENT LIST joins CTV Throwback on Thursday, Jan. 28. Riley Parks (Jennifer Love Hewitt), deserted by her husband and left with her two children, finds herself in serious financial straits. After taking a job at a seemingly traditional day spa in a neighboring town, only to find out her co-workers provide “extra” services, Riley must make the difficult decision of whether or not to embrace the opportunity to resolve her financial problems. Delicately balancing her two starkly different lives, she struggles while working in secrecy, knowing her conservative family and friends would disapprove of her decision.
