DALLAS Premiere Strikes Oil on Bravo as Wednesday’s #1 Specialty Program With 618,000 Viewers

DALLAS galloped into Canada as the most-watched specialty broadcast of the day on Wednesday, attracting 618,000 viewers for the series premiere on Bravo, the third most-watched premiere ever on the channel. In its 9 – 11 p.m. timeslot, the premiere made Bravo the #2 channel in the country behind CTV with total viewers and the key A18-49 and A25-54 demos. In total, the DALLAS premiere broadcast reached a whopping 1.9 million viewers, making Bravo the most-watched (non-sports) specialty network of the day on Wednesday.

The two-hour DALLAS premiere is now available on the newly refreshed bravo.ca, which now features dedicated show pages and on demand video streaming of exclusive Bravo shows. Since the fresh, new website launched, page views have tripled, with total visits to the website jumping by 259%. Videos supported by the new layout have also seen a jump up of 31%.*

In the next new episode of DALLAS, “The Price You Pay” (Wednesday, June 20 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo), just as John Ross (Josh Henderson) sets out to claim his birthright and make his father proud, J.R. (Larry Hagman) decides to move back to Southfork, much to Ann’s (Brenda Strong) dismay. Bitter Ewing family enemy Cliff Barnes (guest star Ken Kercheval, original DALLAS) returns and tries to reconnect with his nephew, Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe). Meanwhile, a startling family announcement offers an opportunity to heal old wounds. Encore broadcasts of DALLAS air Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET beginning June 16 on Bravo.

Also coming up next week on Bravo, are the exciting Season 2 premieres of SUITS, starring Toronto’s Patrick J. Adams along with Gabriel Macht, and WHITE COLLAR starring Matt Bomer, on Monday, June 18 at 9 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET respectively (visit bravo.ca to confirm local broadcast times).
