Elisabeth Moss Stars in Powerful Mystery Series TOP OF THE LAKE, July 13

Bravo continues to deliver the most highly-anticipated drama series with the debut of TOP OF THE LAKESaturday, July 13 at 9 p.m. ET, exclusively on Bravo. The critically-acclaimed, seven-part mystery series combines amazing performances from SAG®  Award winner and three-time Emmy® Award-nominated actress Elisabeth Moss and Academy Award®-winner Holly Hunter, with a pedigreed production team including Oscar®-winning director Jane Campion. Shot and set in New Zealand, TOP OF THE LAKE revolves around the disappearance of a pregnant 12-year-old girl, Tui (Jacqueline Joe). Investigative detective Robin Griffin (Moss), takes on the case, and begins to lose herself in order to find the missing girl. During the investigation, Robin collides with Tui’s drug-lord father, Matt Mitcham (Peter Mullan) and G.J (Hunter), a guru at a local women’s camp. As the case unfolds and suspicions rise, Robin’s limits are tested, sending her on a journey of self-discovery.

TopOfTheLakeIn the premiere episode of TOP OF THE LAKE (Saturday, July 13 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo), Detective Robin Griffin returns to her small community in New Zealand to care for her mother. Local police enlist Robin, a child protection specialist, to take on the disappearance case of a pregnant 12-year-old girl named Tui. With few clues about her perpetrator, the town’s knot of long-buried secrets begins to unravel and the entire community is under a cloud of suspicion. The chief suspect in the case is Tui’s father, a menacing local figure with a violent past who is also embroiled in a land dispute with a new age women’s encampment. Robin’s investigation heightens tensions in the town and hints at a personal history she hoped to keep a secret.

TOP OF THE LAKE also stars David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings) and Lucy Lawless (XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS), who has a cameo role as the estranged wife of a real estate agent who crosses drug lord Matt Mitchum.
