The one-hour drama made and set in Northern Ireland follows the lives of two hunters within one story – the trained detective who must track down a killer and the serial murderer who stalks his next victim.
When a homicide in Belfast remains unsolved, Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Anderson) from London’s Metropolitan Police, is brought in to lead the murder investigation team. Gibson works alongside Paula Reed Smith (Emmy® Award-winner Archie Panjabi, THE GOOD WIFE), a pathologist assigned to the investigation. Jamie Dornan (ONCE UPON A TIME) plays serial murderer
In the premiere episode of THE FALL (Sunday, July 7 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo), DSI Stella Gibson (Anderson) is brought in to review the investigation into the murder of a woman in Belfast. As Gibson looks into the case, she finds similarities to a case from eighteen months ago. Believing them to be the work of one man, she sets about convincing her team that there is a serial killer loose in Belfast. Meanwhile, that very serial killer is busy preparing for his next attack, hiding in plain sight.
