With each episode focusing on a single ingredient or theme, home cooks are in for a masterclass as B.C.-born, Montréal-based chef Derek Dammann demonstrates techniques for working with game proteins.
CTV Sci-Fi Channel invites muggles to grab a cup of Butterbeer and enter the wizarding world of Harry Potter with a BACK TO HOGWARTS MARATHON airing this Labour day long weekend. The adventure begins Saturday, Sept. 5 with HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE (1:30 p.m. ET), HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS (4:45 p.m. ET), and HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN (8:15 p.m. ET). CTV Movies: The teen comedy Not Another Teen Movie joins CTV Movies on Thursday, Sept. 3. In the hilarious parody on other classic teen films, Jake Wyler (Chris Evans, Captain America), the all-American football star, makes a foolish bet to turn the frumpy and unpopular Janey Briggs (Chyler Leigh, GREY’S ANATOMY), into the school’s prom queen. With a jealous ex-girlfriend (Jaime Pressley, MY NAME IS EARL) and a spiteful sister (Mia Kirshner, THE L WORD) who stop at nothing to make sure he doesn’t succeed, Jake is forced to use extreme measures to seduce and win the heart of his unsuspecting prom queen-to-be. The film samples an assortment of classic teen characters and movies including Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Grease, Sixteen Candles, and The Breakfast Club, among others.
