Week of July 20-26: Programming Highlights for CTV and the CTV Specialty Channel Group

MUST-WATCH FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 20

CTV: In the dramatic series finale of BLINDSPOT, airing Thursday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, viewers will finally see if Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) is able to save Jane (Jaimie Alexander) from being exposed to the ZIP, or if her memory will be wiped all over again. Meanwhile, Ivy Sands (Julee Cerda) and the Dabbur Zann are still out there, and potentially able to set off more ZIP in major cities. Perhaps there’s an opportunity for Weller and the team to redeem themselves, even if Jane is out of commission.

CTV Comedy Channel: In an all-new episode of CROSSING SWORDS (Thursday, July 23 at 10 p.m. ET), Princess Blossom (Maya Erskine, PEN15) learns, in true medieval fashion, that she’ll be forced to wear a chastity belt after getting her first period. Meanwhile, Patrick (Nicholas Hoult, Mad Max: Fury Road) is thrown for a loop when an old rival joins his squire class.

CTV Drama Channel: Season 2 of IN THE DARK continues on Thursday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET as Murphy (Perry Mattfeld, SHAMELESS) convinces Jess (Brooke Markham, FOURSOME) to embark on a drug mission in an attempt to recover their stolen supply while Dean (Rich Sommer, MAD MEN) discovers a lead that could unravel Murphy’s plans.

CTV Life Channel: WHERE TO I DO? host Tommy Smythe searches for the perfect secret garden location for a picky bride-to-be on another new episode, Thursday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET.

CTV Sci-Fi Channel: Danger looms on an all-new episode of DOOM PATROL, Thursday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET, when a mysterious package arrives at the Doom Manor. Meanwhile, a visit to the Cloverton beekeeper leads Rita (April Bowlby, DROP DEAD DIVA) to confront her lingering mommy issues as Niles (Timothy Dalton, PENNY DREADFUL) heads north to find Dorothy’s (newcomer Abigail Shaprio) mother.

CTV Throwback: Seasons 1 and 2 of the adult animated sitcom DILBERT join CTV Throwback on Thursday, July 23. In DILBERT, the adaption of the comic strip of the same name, viewers follow the adventures of a middle-aged, white-collar office worker named Dilbert (Daniel Stern, HOME ALONE), who is extremely intelligent yet pessimistic due to his lack of power and importance at work. His frustration towards his company’s inefficiency and the incompetency of his superiors ultimately lands him in various comedic situations with his colleagues.

CTV.ca: In an all-new episode of UNITED WE FALL on July 23, available exclusively on CTV.ca, Bill (Will Sasso, MADTV) and Jo (Christina Vidal, SPEAKY PETE) reluctantly ask Sandy (Jane Curtin, 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN) to babysit after Chuy (Guillermo Diaz, SCANDAL) and his wife convince them to join their weekly date night. Bill and Jo discover they’re a bit rusty at romance, while Sandy discovers she’s a bit rusty at parenting.
