Kevin Smith Goes to the Movies in New Series SPOILERS, Airing Exclusively on SPACE in Canada

This summer, SPACE is the place where armchair film critics unite when director Kevin Smith (Mallrats, Clerks) holds no opinion back in his new series SPOILERS. Making its Canadian debut today exclusively at SPACECAST.com, the 10-episode “movie revue” series is a multi-act film extravaganza that mixes lively group chats, interviews with movie and pop culture icons, animated shorts and cinematic reenactments together into one 22-minute episode. Acquired through Alliance Films, the Hulu Original Series features Smith, a special guest, and a group of movie lovers sounding off on the year’s most anticipated summer blockbusters, while breaking down their favorite scenes and talking about what should have been left on the cutting room floor. For viewers who want to relive the movie-mocking magic, SPOILERS makes its Canadian television broadcast debut on Friday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m. ET, exclusively on SPACE.

Now available for viewers date-and-date with Hulu, this week’s episode of SPOILERS will make its premiere on SPACECAST.com today, as Kevin and his fellow movie lovers discuss The Amazing Spider-Man, with special guest Stan Lee.

Also starting today, the first five episodes of the popular series can also be found on SPACECAST.com. The series kicks off with Snow White and the Huntsman, and Smith sits down with special guest Carrie Fisher to talk Star Wars, Blues Brothers, and being Smith’s first love.

SPOILERS also dissects Prometheus, with the movie’s writer, Damon Lindelof, joining Smith to chat about ALIAS, LOST, and Ridley Scott. Then, it’s on to Rock of Ages, with indie film icon Robert Rodriguez stopping by to chat with Kevin about El Mariachi, Machete, and being a human guinea pig

While the spoilers sink their teeth into Abram Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Jason Lee (UP ALL NIGHT) stops by to talk about his professional skateboarding career, and also shares how he became Smith’s favourite actor of all time. The spoilers also take on Magic Mike, and are joined by Jon Favreau, who talks about Iron Man, Swingers and a wild helicopter ride with Harrison Ford.

SPOILERS is distributed in Canada by Alliance Films.
