The season 6B premiere of DOCTOR WHOshattered its own record Saturday night, capturing a whopping 834,000 viewers, making it the biggest audience on record for SPACE. The episode, “Let’s Kill Hitler”, ended the night as most-watched program overall on Canadian television for adult viewers (18-49 and 25-54). Peaking at 977,000 viewers, the episode attracted 1.2 million unique viewers in all.

Following at 9 p.m. ET, the DOCTOR WHO spin-off series, TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY, ranked as the #2 program among adults 18-49. The episode, entitled “End of the Road”, drew in an impressive 528,000 total viewers. Both episodes of DOCTOR WHO and TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY are available for viewing on spacecast.com.
In next week’s episode of DOCTOR WHO, The Doctor receives a distress call from the scariest place in the Universe, a child’s bedroom. Terrified of the monsters in his cupboard, George’s pleas for help break through barriers of all time and space. Allaying his fears won’t be easy, even for the Doctor…because George’s monsters are real. “Night Terrors” premieres Saturday, September 3 at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on SPACE. Beforehand, viewers show their loyalty to the companions – Amy, Rory and River Song when the one-hour special DOCTOR WHO: BEST OF THE COMPANIONS premieres at 7 p.m. ET.
