This April, SPACE welcomes the new Doctor to the network with two weeks of exclusive DOCTOR WHO programming leading up to the premiere of the all-new series. More chic than geek, the new, 13-part, DOCTOR WHO series features new storylines, new villains, a new partner and Matt Smith as the hip and stylish young Doctor. Definitely not your dad’s DOCTOR WHO, the new series begins its exclusive run on SPACE beginning Saturday, April 17 at 9 p.m. ET. Viewers wishing to reexamine the new Doctor can view each new episode for seven days after broadcast at spacecast.com.
On Saturday, April 17, during the premiere, fans can log on to spacecast.com for an hour long live blog by four yet to be named DOCTOR WHO panelists beginning at 9 p.m. ET. The online discussion is lead by InnerSPACE’s Natasha Eloi.

In the premiere episode of the new DOCTOR WHO series, “The Eleventh Hour,” the Doctor takes companion Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) to the distant future, where she finds Britain floating in space. Starship UK houses the future of the British people, as they search the stars for a new home. But as Amy explores the ship she encounters the terrifying Smilers and learns a deadly truth inside the Voting Booth.
Since its re-incarnation in 2005, DOCTOR WHO has received recognition from critics and the public as one of the finest British television programs.
