Premiering Sunday, July 14 at 8 p.m. ET/ 9 p.m. PT on Discovery World, the 90-minute special, HARRY’S MOUNTAIN HEROES charts the gripping adventure of five British service men wounded in the Middle East. Each of the men striving to stand atop Everest are soldiers who were on active service in Afghanistan or Iraq when they suffered debilitating, life-changing injuries, including the loss of limbs. Now they face the unknown, both in their attempt to summit the top of the world, and in their journey of on-going rehabilitation and re-integration into civilian life, post-injury.

Backed by the support of the charity Walking With the Wounded, and its patron, Prince Harry, the five-strong team face the altitude, extreme climate, and sheer physical hard work of summiting the world’s highest mountain.
HARRY’S MOUNTAIN HEROES takes viewers through the journey of these extraordinary men who hope to inspire others who face disability and daily challenges. As a follow up to HARRY’S ARCTIC HEROES, the special also covers Prince Harry’s commitment to the charity as he spearheads the launch of the Everest expedition, joins the team in the days prior to their departure for Nepal, and follows their fortunes during the 10-week journey.
