From the shores of Nova Scotia to the summits of Switzerland, THE TRAVEL GUY has seen and done it all. Premiering Tuesday, June 21 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Discovery World HD, the 13-part series shows how to have an adventure no matter were in the world you go. From feeding sharks and crocodiles to discovering ancient ruins; and from snowmobiling on glaciers to zip-lining through the rainforest – host Frank Greco explores and experiences the world one destination at a time.

Sailing to six islands in six days, THE TRAVEL GUY explores the sites of St. Vincent, Bequia, Canouan, Tobago Cays, Petite St. Vincent and Union Island. There, he cooks a delectable meal using the local breadfruit, releases endangered Hawksbill turtles back into the ocean and catches a Mahi Mahi.

Canada’s East Coast is known for having the highest tides in the world. Here, THE TRAVEL GUY walks on the seabed as the tide rises and falls 12 metres. Further down the shoreline he explores Canada’s most iconic ship, The Bluenose, and visits the 78th Highland Regiment where he is accidently recruited for duty!
THE TRAVEL GUY – “Ireland”

Explore ancient castles, historic Belfast and the mythical Giant’s Causeway that make up the beautiful landscape of Ireland. THE TRAVEL GUY embraces the legend and lore of the Celtic country, learning to play a traditional Irish hand-held drum, the bodhran, and having a pint in the world’s most beautiful bar. Plus a visit to the Ulster Folk Museum and the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

THE TRAVEL GUY relaxes in the therapeutic waters of the blue lagoon in Iceland followed by some snowmobiling across a glacier. Savouring the local delicacies, he boils an egg in the world’s original Geyser, cooks up a trendy dessert and even eats the local delicacies – sheep testicles and head.
