2024 Shark Week *Beginning July 7*
- Hosted by John Cena, Shark Week is Discovery’s iconic celebration and investigation of shark habits and behaviours. For 2024, the event includes the next chapter of the hit series BELLY OF THE BEAST, a fascinating look at a great white shark feeding frenzy, plus MONSTER HAMMERHEAD: SPECIES X, about a potential new hammerhead species, and GREAT WHITE SERIAL KILLER: SEA OF BLOOD, which follows a great white terrorizing a local village.
EAST HARBOUR HEROES *Season 2; Premieres June 24 at 10 p.m. ET on Discovery*
- In Season 2 of Discovery Channel’s Canadian original series EAST HARBOUR HEROES, giant icebergs, mysterious shipwrecks, stricken vessels, epic fishing adventures on the Grand Banks and unrelenting force of the North Atlantic make the lives of the rescue teams, ships’ captains, commercial fishers, dock workers and divers who call Newfoundland and Labrador home – harder than ever.
BUSH WRECK RESCUE *Season 2; Premieres June 26 at 10 p.m. ET on Discovery*
- Discovery’s Canadian original series BUSH WRECK RESCUE returns to the roads of Western Canada for Season 2. In the all-new episodes, passionate motorheads in B.C. and Alberta continue to take on impossible fixes, demanding clients, and each other to turn old trucks and specialty vehicles into custom gems. Season 2 premieres Wednesday, June 26 at 10 p.m. ET, and follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes airing Wednesdays.
PETS & PICKERS *Season 3; Premieres July 14 at 8 p.m. ET on Animal Planet*
- Motivated by extraordinary compassion, and a singular belief that all animals deserve treatment, the heartfelt Animal Planet Canadian original series PETS & PICKERS reveals how the Regional Animal Protection Society (RAPS) Animal Hospital works tirelessly to offer low-income pet families access to top healthcare. To fund these treatments, RAPS has a unique solution: their thrift store. An energetic and dedicated group of animal loving “pickers” comb through donated mystery bins containing abandoned storage locker items, all money raised goes to pay for vet care and lifesaving surgeries. It’s a one-of-a-kind “pets and pickers” relationship with an uplifting mission: to help animals and their people. Season 3 of PETS & PICKERS debuts Sunday, July 14 at 8 p.m. ET, and follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes airing Sundays.
