Toronto-based Proper Television announces that “Don’t Drive Here,” the ultimate driving challenge series, has been greenlit by Discovery Canada for six one-hour episodes. “Don’t Drive Here” sees the fan-favourite host Andrew Younghusband of“Canada’s Worst Driver” navigate six of the world’s most dreadful driving cities through a series of intense driving challenges. Production has begun in Delhi, India. Produced by Proper Television for Discovery Channel, “Don’t Drive Here” is slated to premiere in summer 2013.

“We are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Discovery,” says Guy O’Sullivan, president, Proper Television. “We look forward to exploring some of the most frenzied, hilarious, and downright traumatic driving cultures on the planet.”
In “Don’t Drive Here,” host Andrew Younghusband learns to master the sheer pandemonium of the world’s most notorious driving cities by surviving three harrowing and hysterical challenges over the course of one week. Cities on tap include Delhi, Manila, Bangkok, Mexico City, and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
“Don’t Drive Here” is the third car-themed series for Discovery Channel by Proper Television. Their previous hit includes eight seasons of “Canada’s Worst Driver,” a ratings hit and the upcoming “Last Car Standing,” set to premiere in spring/summer 2013. “Last Car Standing” is an elimination-style competition series in which five owners of lousy and defective vehicles battle it out on four clunker-busting race courses.
“Don’t Drive Here” is executive produced by Guy O’Sullivan and Jennifer Scott. Derek Miller is the series producer. Ian MacDonald is the series director.
