Disney XD Kicks It Up a Notch with the Season Three Premiere of Kickin’ It

Make way for the Wasabi Warriors as they karate chop into the third season of Kickin’ It on Disney XD. Premiering Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. ET, the martial arts comedy series revolves around a group of friends who train and compete at the Bobby Wasabi Martial Arts Academy. In honour of the one-hour premiere event, Disney XD is kicking it in to high gear all weekend long with two full-days of ninja action on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET.

In the premiere episode titled “Spyfall,” a government agent mistakenly identifies Falafel Phil as an international spy whose target is a visiting prince. Jack takes on the role of a secret agent, making it his mission to thwart the real spy. Then, in “Dueling Dojos,” Jack steps up and assumes more of a leadership role at the dojo when Sensei Rudy is asked to babysit for a few days, but runs into trouble when Jerry has trouble adjusting to Jack’s new regime.

Kickin’ It season three continues to follow the Bobby Wasabi crew as they face bigger opponents, embark on new challenges and kick it at the dojo. It also features a special guest appearance by two-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas. Following the premiere, new episodes of Kickin’ it will air Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. ET, part of an action-packed Saturday night line-up that includes Lab RatsPhineas and Ferb andCrash & Bernstein.

Martial arts aficionados can head over to DisneyXD.ca to play ninja-themed games and catch the premiere episode online beginning May 11. Viewers can also kick back with some of their favourite episodes from season two on Disney XD OnDemand. New episodes will become available as they premiere weekly beginning May 14.

Kickin’ It was created by Emmy-nominated Jim O’Doherty (Grounded for Life, 3rd Rock from the Sun) and executive-produced by O’Doherty and J.J. Wall (Til Death, Brothers). The series stars Jason Earles as Sensei Rudy, Leo Howard as Jack, Mateo Arias as Jerry, Dylan Riley Snyder as Milton, Olivia Holt as Kim and Dan Ahdoot as Falafel Phil. Kickin’ It is a production of It’s A Laugh Productions, Inc.
