New Series Makes a Crash Landing on Disney XD

Sibling rivalry is all relative in Disney XD’s new buddy-comedy series Crash & Bernstein. Debuting on Saturday, November 3 at 7 p.m. ET, the Disney XD Original Series follows Wyatt Bernstein, the only son among four kids, whose puppet Crash comes to life and becomes the loud-mouthed surrogate brother that he always wanted. Viewers can catch a sneak peek on Sunday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET following a Lab Rats Ultimate Mission Marathon.

Crash & Bernstein introduces viewers to 12-year-old Wyatt who creates a high-octane puppet named Crash after he is reluctantly taken to a Build-A-Bestie store for his birthday. Amidst a household of sisters – including popular 16-year-old Amanda, fashion-forward middle sister Cleo and assertive 6-year-old Jasmine – Crash brings Wyatt some much needed “boy reinforcement.” Together, the new “brothers” help each other navigate life’s experiences and although they sometimes have their differences, like true brothers, they always have each other’s back.

In the premiere episode “Educating Crash,” Crash decides to take on the toughest kid at school to establish his and Wyatt’s reputation as the cool kids. When he succeeds, he lets popularity get the best of him landing them both in the vice principal’s office. Following the premiere, Crash & Bernstein will continue to air in its regular time slot on Saturdays at 7 p.m. ET behind Disney XD’s hit series Pair of Kings.

The brotherly love continues at DisneyXD.ca with a dedicated Crash & Bernstein supersite where visitors can play new crash-ingly cool games including “Crash’s Bro-tastic Games,” now available. Disney XD OnDemand also offers new episodes of Crash & Bernstein as they become available weekly starting November 6.

Starring in Crash & Bernstein are newcomer Cole Jensen as Wyatt; Emmy Award-nominated puppet master and filmmaker Tim Lagasse (Johnny and the Sprites) as Crash; Oana Gregory (Lab Rats) as Amanda; Landry Bender (The Sitter) as Cleo and Aaron R. Landon (New Girl) as Pesto. Recurring stars include Mary Birdsong (Reno 911) as Mel and Mckenna Grace as Jasmine.

Crash & Bernstein was created by Eric Friedman (Austin & AllyI’m In The Band) and is executive-produced by Friedman and Emmy Award nominee Mike Larsen (Real Time with Bill Maher). Jim Armogida and Steve Armogida (Grounded for Life) serve as co-executive producers. The puppet was designed and built by Chiodo Brothers Productions, Inc. based in Burbank, California. The series is a production of It’s A Laugh Productions, Inc.
