Canadian Original Hit Series CARLAWOOD is Back in TVTropolis

TVtropolis in association with Lone Eagle Entertainment Ltd. ushers in the second season premiere of the hilarious half-hour hit documentary series, Carlawood, starring Canadian Comedian Carla Collins. The eight-episode documentary series described as “Curb Your Enthusiasm” meets “My Life on the D-List” will premiere Monday, May 31 at 11 p.m. ET/PT only on TVtropolis.

Join Carla this season on a lighthearted journey in the land of excess, with her affable “Hollywood-royalty” husband Tyrone Power Jr. by her side. Carla brings the camera along as she dodges celebrities and pursues her quest for fame in the City of Angels.

“We are ecstatic to have Carla Collins back on TVtropolis with a comical second season of Carlawood,” said Vanessa Case, Vice-President, Content, TVtropolis. “Viewers will be chuckling in their seats as she takes them on her personal journey through the not so always glamorous world of Hollywood.”

Season two highlights include: taking the Hollywood comedy circuit by storm, hitting tons of red carpet events for the “pet” charities she supports, writing a new self-help book entitled Angels, Vampires and Douche Bags, finding a suitable personal assistant and convincing US Immigration that her union with Ty is legitimate!

“Fans of Carlawood can’t get enough of Carla’s LA antics! Season two will get up close and personal with Carla as she lives out her dream on camera,” says Michael Geddes, President of Lone Eagle Entertainment Ltd.

Carla Collins is an award-winning comedian, actress and television host. She is hailed as “The Queen of Comedy in Canada”. Carla starred as Rusty Sinclair on the campy soap Paradise Falls and has appeared in numerous movies of the week. She was also in the feature film Caveman’s Valentine. She has appeared on numerous series including Pax TV’s Doc, Noggin’s, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Oxygen/ Showcase’s Show Me Yours, Tracker, Starhunter 2300 and Screech Owls.

TVtropolis is a Canwest Broadcasting channel.
