The multi-award winning Canadian original series Stella and Sam returns to Disney Junior for a second season beginning October 15 at 10:45 a.m. ET. Based on the popular books by Canadian author and illustrator Marie-Louise Gay, the second season of the original production sees outgoing Stella lead her inquisitive younger brother, Sam, on new backyard quests and imaginative excursions.
With wild red hair and an imagination to match, nine-year-old Stella is truly a ‘star’ in the eyes of her four-year-old brother Sam. Stella and Sam explores the world in all its seasons with the siblings experiencing wild adventures and comical mishaps. Every day is a new adventure for Stella and Sam as they encounter fun, learn new things and partake in self-discovery.
The second season of Stella and Sam starts with a backyard campout that quickly turns into a space launch when Stella takes Sam and Owen to see the Man in the Moon. After exploring the lunar surface, the kids find out that mythical keeper of the moon is hard to find.
The premiere episode of Stella and Sam will be available on Disney Junior OnDemand beginning Friday, October 21. Online at DisneyJunior.ca, younger viewers will see the Stella and Sam minisite refreshed and can access new character pages, colouring pages and games.
Disney Junior is a commercial-free channel available in English and French to subscribers across Canada.
