When the body of an American judge is found dead in the middle of the Bridge of the Americas, Detective Sonya Cross (Diane Kruger, Inglorious Basterds) from the El Paso Police Department, and Detective Marco Ruiz (Demian Bichir, Weeds) from Chihuahua State Police, are both called to the scene. As they process the body it splits into two pieces, they discover that the bottom half belongs to one of the missing girls of Juarez.
