FX Canada Unveils Fall Premiere Dates

The forecast this fall is sunny with a chance of sorcery, as gripping new seasons of the hottest dramas and comedies make their eagerly awaited return to FX Canada. Rounding out the network’s roster of critically acclaimed fall programming are all-new seasons of water cooler-worthy drama American Horror StoryCoven, the off-colour comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and the fantasy football comedy The League. Also heading to FX Canada is Season 4 of the dark motorcycle drama Sons of Anarchy

Headlining FX Canada’s fall lineup is the captivating, visceral drama American Horror Story, premiering Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT(check local listings). Back for Season 3, Coven explores an entirely new vision from the brilliantly disturbing mind of creator Ryan Murphy (Glee) that uncovers the haunting history of New Orleans and some of its most infamous residents.
Boasting an acclaimed cast of returning favourites and fresh new faces, Coven features an array of Hollywood’s most celebrated actors alongside some of the industry’s most promising young talent. Emmy® Award-winning actress Jessica Lange returns as a Salem witch, with series regular Sarah Paulson playing her daughter. Academy Award® winner Kathy Bates (Harry’s Law) and renowned actress Angela Bassett (This Means War) join the cast respectively as Madame Delphine LaLaurie, an 1830s socialite and serial killer, and Marie Laveau, the legendary New Orleanian voodoo queen. Also new this season are Tony Award® winner Christine Ebersole (Sullivan & Son), Gabourey Sidibe (Precious), and Emma Roberts (We’re the Millers), who round out a cast of returning actors including: Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga, Denis O’Hare, and Alexandra Breckenridge.

Mac (Rob McElhenney) and Charlie (Charlie Day), however, are quick to try and use Frank and the small fortune he made in the construction business to their own advantage.
Immediately following It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,quick-witted comedy The League makes its Season 5 debut on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings). Meanwhile, Ruxin (Nick Kroll) refuses to do his Sacko punishments and “Shiva Bowl” champion Ted (off-screen League member) has a few surprises for everyone at the draft, including Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt (guest starring as himself).
Finally, everyone’s favourite outlaws are back in the eagerly awaited Season 4 premiere of the bold biker drama Sons of Anarchy, beginningTuesday, Sept. 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings).
