ALL-NEW SERIES brings master contractor JIM CARUK back to HGTV CANADA in BUIDER BOSS

Builder Boss Gives Audiences Unprecedented Access to The Real World of Custom Homebuilding and Renovation

Master Contractor Jim Caruk (Real Renos), the man behind some of Canada’s most respected custom homebuilding and renovation projects, is making his highly-anticipated return to HGTV Canada with the brand-new series Builder Boss, premiering with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, June 21st at 10pm ET/PT.

Builder Boss follows the stories, the stress, and the success behind every one of Jim’s builds. Each episode documents a real-life Caruk Group job from the early days of a build right through to the finishing touches with stunning reveals of the completed spaces. Projects include a 6000 square foot Georgian mansion, a repurposed old Victorian home, a massive Charleston-style porch complete with garden, and an underground bunker created to house a golf simulator. These projects are big and complex, and each episode captures months of highs – and lows – as they unfold.

“It’s a great feeling to be back on the job with HGTV Canada, and our new producing partners at Entertainment One,” says Jim Caruk.  “It’s been an incredible year, and we’re very proud of the work we’ve done on this series. We hope that audiences will come along with us for a real insider’s look at the business, and have some fun with our team along the way.”

“We are really excited to be working with Jim Caruk, the man behind one of Canada’s most respected home renovation brands,” says Michael Kot, SVP Factual Entertainment|Entertainment One Television. “Builder Boss puts Jim back on TV where he belongs; fans will no doubt flock to HGTV to watch Jim’s creative vision come to life.”

Best known for his long-running HGTV series Real Renos, Jim is a working master contractor with an award-winning business, and over 30 years experience handling homes – and clients – of every kind. Each day, Jim is busy overseeing a multi-million dollar roster of projects, and focusing on spectacular results. With Builder BossJim is sharing his next-level view, once again throwing open the doors to his world.
