Peter Fallico is putting his money where his mouth is with the second season of this half-hour, 13-episode real estate-meets-design reality series on HGTV Canada. Starting Monday, March 8,at 9pm ET/PT, Peter gives viewers an insider’s view of his experiences with finding the right property, renovating it in a beautiful and cost-effective manner, sourcing materials in the most unexpected places, and positioning it for the big sale in Home To Flip.
Each episode features one of Peter’s signature design or carpentry projects, tons of money-saving tips, and of course a breathtaking ‘reveal’. Peter must overcome a constant stream of real-life challenges to get the project done, and takes viewers along for the ride. He shows us how careful planning, hard work and a whole lot of ingenuity go into achieving a profitable ‘flip’.
Renowned for his carpentry skills and his background in visual arts, Peter offers his own signature touches to this house, making it invaluable to potential buyers. His passion for usable storage, coupled with his impeccable design sense results in custom shelving and cabinetry throughout the house – something lacking in so many old homes.
“My focus is to try to use and update as much of the existing house as possible and then add signature touches with a focus on storage,” said Peter Fallico. “It is a great experience and a good investment – but only if you are truly passionate about getting down and dirty and doing a lot of the work yourself. Those who are making money ‘flipping’ are holding on to the houses for a bit so be prepared to live in the house for awhile until the market is right.”
