HGTV Canada is bringing an epic life-size renovation of the iconic Mattel toy, Barbie® Dreamhouse, to viewers by creating the boldest and most whimsical home in the new competition series Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge.
The four-part event series is hosted by supermodel, designer, author and entrepreneur Ashley Graham and will feature eight superstar teams as they transform a Southern California home into a real-life Barbie Dreamhouse.
The home design and renovation experts include:
- Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson (Married to Real Estate)
- Jasmine Roth (Help! I Wrecked My House) and Antonia Lofaso (Beachside Brawl)
- Ty Pennington (Rock the Block) and Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab)
- Jonathan Knight and Kristina Crestin (Farmhouse Fixer)
- Christina Hall and James Bender (Christina on the Coast)
- Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (Bargain Block)
- Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt (100 Day Dream Home)
- Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle Williams (Luxe for Less)
Acclaimed designer and Barbie collaborator Jonathan Adler will serve as head judge alongside HGTV Canada designer and Barbie Dreamhouse expert Tiffany Brooks, who will be joined by a weekly celebrity guest judge.
The renovated spaces must be inspired by a decade in the 60-year history of the Dreamhouse, with homages to the pop culture and trends of the era. Each episode will feature captivating and nostalgic Barbie content as the teams implement daring designs, including a light-up dance floor, an aquarium that doubles as a desk, and a hat carousel in Barbie’s closet. One room’s design will be chosen as the winner each week, and in the final episode, one design will be declared the “Dreamiest” of them all. The winning team will have a donation to charity made in their honour, and one passionate Barbie fan will win a once-in-a-lifetime sleepover staycation in the completed home.
Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge premieres Sunday, July 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV Canada and STACKTV.

Episode 1: Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge “Barbie’s First Floor Face-Off”
All sixteen renovators gather to kick off the competition, and the first two teams go head-to-head: Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson vs. Jasmine Roth and Antonia Lofaso. Judges Jonathan Adler and Tiffany Brooks are joined by guest judge Maureen McCormick.

Episode 2: Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge “The Suite Life of Barbie and Ken”
Jonathan Knight and Kristina Crestin must create Barbie’s iconic bedroom suite, as they battle Alison Victoria and Ty Pennington, who are building a first-ever den for Ken. Special guests Allison Holker Boss and ET’s Nischelle Turner join the fun.

Episode 3: Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge “Dream in the Front, Party in the Back”
Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas transform the front exterior, adding a gigantic handle on the roof, to compete with Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt’s backyard pink party pad. Actress Marsai Martin joins the judges to choose one team to move on to the finale.

Episode 4: Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge “Barbie’s Big Pink Carpet Finale”
Christina Hall and James Bender take on Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle. Then the four finalist spaces compete at a “Pink Carpet” event. One space is voted the winner, and a fan wins a stay in the Dreamhouse. Appearance by Barbie star, Margot Robbie!
