MUSEUM SECRETS Returns March 14 on History

HISTORY’s hit Canadian original series Museum Secrets is back for a third season, inviting viewers on more exclusive tours deep into some of the world’s most extraordinary museums. The new season continues to follow leading researchers as they uncover hidden stories and treasures in some of the greatest cities in the world. Airing Thursdays, beginning March 14 at 9pm ET/PT, Museum Secrets delivers its signature storytelling blend of spectacular photography, hands-on experiments and graphic novel animation.

Highlights from this season include the search for King Herod’s tomb, the conspiracy behind a high-profile assassination attempt, proof that a leather shield can be better than steel and the curious connection  between an ancient amulet and Star Trek’s Mr. Spock.
Museums visited include the Smithsonian Institution, Madrid’s Palacio Real, the Chateau of Versailles, Jerusalem’s Israel Museum, the National Maritime Museum in London, Florence’s Uffizi Gallery, Tunisia’s  Bardo and the State Historical Museum, Moscow.
Surprising, provocative and revealing – the little known stories of Museum Secrets lead viewers on compelling journeys through significant moments in history. Narrating Museum Secrets is acclaimed Canadian actor Colm Feore (The Borgias, Saving Hope), who sets the tone for this enthralling series. And at www.museumsecrets.tv, fans of the show will find web exclusive secrets, video and short, interactive experiences of hands-on history that delve deeper into the stories they see in each episode.
