The Campaign stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as two Southerners vying for a seat in Congress to represent their small district. When long-term congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) commits a major public gaffe before an upcoming election, a pair of ultra-wealthy CEOs plot to put up a rival candidate and gain influence over their North Carolina district.  Their man: naïve Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis), director of the local Tourism Center.

Will Ferrell is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, where he made a name for himself with his celebrity impersonations, including George Bush, Alex Trebek, Robert Goulet and Janet Reno. After SNL, Ferrell went on to star in some of this generations best comedy classics, including Old School, Elf, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights, Stranger than Fiction, Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro, and The Other Guys, which earned him a place among Hollywood’s “Frat Pack” of comedic actors. Ferrell launched himself into the digital world of comedy with his site Funny or Die. The site’s first video, “The Landlord” (featuring Ferrell) has received over 79 million views to date.

Zach Galifianakis got his start performing his brand of humor in the back of a hamburger joint in Times Square, eventually graduating to performing stand-up at nightclubs and coffee houses in the city. Galifianakis is best known for portraying the lovable Alan Garner in the hit comedy The Hangover. When he’s not busy shooting films, Galifianakis hosts his internet talk show, “Between Two Ferns” in which he has interviewed such guests as Steve Carell, Natalie Portman, Conan O’Brien, Charlize Theron and many more.
