Presenters at the 2010 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS Announced

MuchMusic announced today that the most scream-inducing A-listers in the entertainment biz are set to hand out the hardware at the 2010 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS (see presenters list below). Much also delivers the first-ever red carpet performance by platinum selling, DISBAND-discovered, MMVAs-nominated Stereos. The night begins with the 2010 MMVAs RED CARPET SPECIAL on Sunday, June 20 at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the main show at 9 p.m. ET. Viewers in the U.S. can watch a simulcast on Fuse.

JERSEY SHORE cast members Snooki and Pauly D bring fist-pumps and drama to the red carpet alongside THE HILLS leading bad girl Kristin Cavallari and THE CITY’s resident fashionista Whitney Port. Twilighters get their vampire fix as The Twilight Saga: Eclipse stars Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, and Xavier Samuel take a bite out of the MMVAs alongside home-grown VAMPIRE DIARIES hottie Nina Dobrev. The scorching hot SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA host and ETALK correspondent Leah Miller returns to the MMVAs stage while the cast from the hit show THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER Shailene Woodley, Daren Kagasoff, Megan Park, as well as DEGRASSI’s Charlotte Arnold make their MMVAs debut. MuchMusic faves Perez Hilton, Girlicious, and LIGHTS show MMVAs first timers Miranda Cosgrove, Blake McGrath, Emily Osment, Nikki Yanofsky, and more exactly how to handle the fan-frenzy carpet!

And that’s not all.

For the first time ever, viewers are treated to a very special red carpet acoustic performance by MuchMusic’s DISBAND discovered Stereos that is guaranteed to give all the summer girls butterflies. Stereos debut album has been certified Gold, while their first single, Summer Girl, which debuted on MuchMusic in May 2009, has gone double platinum. The band followed that with an additional two platinum singles and they also are two-time Juno nominee and three-time MMVAs nominee this year. With this red-hot, red carpet performance, Stereos are poised to show off their pipes to one of their loudest crowds yet!‬

“This year, we have the hottest, coolest, and most sought-after presenters the MMVAs have ever seen,” said Sheila Sullivan, Executive Producer, 2010 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS. “From musicians to reality stars with poufs, fashionistas to the best of the best from TV, there’s something for everyone to tune into on June 20.
