MuchMusic continues to spotlight the ongoing efforts in Haiti with a special episode of MUCHONDEMAND today. VJs Sarah Taylor and Jesse Giddings host the one-hour special, airing at 5 p.m. ET.
Much lets viewers know how they can help by bringing artists and youth together on MOD. Appearing on the show to discuss aid efforts are:
o K’NAAN, “Wavin’ Flag” singer/songwriter
o LIGHTS, singer/songwriter
o Erin Barton-Chery, Free the Children
o Kardinal Offishiall, rapper
o Gabrielle Duchesne, War Child
o Kristy Woudstra, World Vision
During MOD, the entire audience shows their support by wearing Young Artists For Haiti t-shirts. Proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt go towards rebuilding the struggling nation. To purchase the t-shirt, buy the Young Artists For Haiti single or make a donation, go to muchmusic.com or www.facebook.com/youngartistsforhaiti. Earlier this month, Much premiered a brand-new rendition of K’NAAN’s “Wavin’ Flag” video featuring an all-star cast of more than 50 Canadian artists in support of Haiti. These artists came together and now Much fans are following suit. Fans can send in a picture of themselves wearing the Young Artists for Haiti t-shirt for a chance to win a plaque signed by all the Wavin’ Flag artists.
