Upright starring Tim Minchin and Mlly Alcock returns to Super Channel for a second season

Super Channel is pleased to announce that season two of the critically acclaimed Australian comedy-drama, Upright, starring celebrated musician, comedian, actor and writer Tim Minchin (Californication) and rising global star, Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon), will return to Super Channel Fuse on Sunday, December 18 at 9 p.m. ET. Each half-hour episode will be available on Super Channel On Demand the day following its weekly linear broadcast. Super Channel is available via most cable providers across Canada as well as streaming on Amazon Prime Video channels and Apple TV+.

The eight-part second season will see misfit duo Lucky (Minchin) and Meg (Alcock) reunited after four years when Meg turns up unannounced on Lucky’s doorstep. The two set out on another epic adventure, this time trading the desert for the steamy tropics of Far North Queensland, as they hit the road – and the river – on a mission to find Meg’s mom.

Upright features a stellar returning cast including Heather Mitchell (Love MePalm Beach), Ella Scott Lynch (Amazing GraceThe Code), Daniel Lapaine (CatastropheFive Bedrooms), Daniel Frederiksen (The DryMiss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries) and Asmara Feik (The True History of the Kelly GangThe Listies Work for Peanuts).
