TSN and RDS Deliver Complete Live Coverage of W SERIES Auto Racing Championship, Beginning June 26

W SERIES, TSN, and RDS announced today a multi-year media rights agreement, making Bell Media’s sports networks the Canadian home of the all- female professional motor racing series. Presented in partnership with FORMULA 1®, the 2021 W SERIES schedule features eight events, beginning Saturday, June 26 live from the Styrian Grand Prix in Spielberg, Austria.

2021 marks the second season for W SERIES, which aims to promote diversity in motorsport, and create a pathway for female racing drivers to compete in the upper tiers of motorsport.

W SERIES’ mission will always be to further the interests and prospects of female racing drivers, and to inspire girls and women everywhere,” said Catherine Bond Muir, Chief Executive Officer, W SERIES. “Racing in partnership with FORMULA 1 in 2021, coupled with the support of our global network of broadcasters, will significantly increase our reach, impact and influence by placing W SERIES on motor racing’s greatest stage and taking us to new audiences and territories. Our drivers are ready and raring to put on a fantastic show.”

“We are extremely excited for TSN and RDS to become the Canadian home of W SERIES, adding even more live events to our expansive roster of women’s sports coverage,” said Nathalie Cook, VP, TSN & RDS. “We’re proud to partner with this ground-breaking auto racing series, and we can’t wait to showcase these talented drivers for viewers across Canada, as they continue to change the face of motorsport.”
