Score Media Inc.and Gillette are proud to announce that Gillette DRAFTED: The Search for Canada’s Next Sportscaster is returning for Season 3. This season will be bigger and better than ever, filled with exciting new challenges and special guests. Just like previous winners Brent Furtney and Paul Brothers, the Season 3 winner will be crowned with a one-year contract as Score Media’s newest sportscaster contributing to theScore Television Network, theScore.com, ScoreMobile and theScore Satellite Radio, plus a one-year spokesperson contract with Gillette.
“I went from being a school teacher to a sportscaster because of Gillette DRAFTED and within a few short months, I have already done things I never imagined I’d get to do – if you can believe it, I just finished interviewing Alexander Ovechkin!” says Brent Furtney, Sportscaster and winner of Gillette DRAFTED Season 2. “I can’t get over how much my life has changed.”
Drafted.ca will give Gillette DRAFTED hopefuls everything they need to know about the competition and how to get involved.
Participants can register online at Drafted.ca, mail in an entry to theScore or apply in person at the following locations:
· April 30-May 1st – Halifax (Halifax Shopping Centre)
· May 7-8 – Toronto (Toronto Eaton Centre)
· May 14-15 – Winnipeg (Polo Park Shopping Centre)
· May 21-22 – Calgary (Market Mall)
· May 28-29 – Vancouver (Pacific Centre)
