Grand Slam of Curling Slides into Toronto for the Princess Auto Players’ Championship, April 9-14

Wrapping up the 2023-24 Grand Slam season in Toronto, the best of the best curlers from across the globe are set to take the ice for the Princess Auto Players’ Championship from April 9-14 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. Sportsnet is set to deliver exclusive TV coverage and streaming of the international premier curling event beginning Thursday, April 11 on Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE, and via live stream on Sportsnet+.

The final event on the 2023-24 Grand Slam calendar features 12 of the top men’s and 12 of the best women’s teams from across the globe competing for the Grand Slam title. The world-class talent pool includes defending 2022-23 Princess Auto Players’ Championship champions Team Koe (Canada) and Team Wrana (Sweden), 2024 Canadian champions Team Gushue (Canada) as well as Team Mouat (Scotland) and 2024 world champions Team Homan (Canada) who took home the Co-op Canadian Open crowns earlier this year in Red Deer, AB. The event also includes must-watch Canadian fan-favourite Team Jones (Canada), with skip Jennifer Jones playing in her last event before retirement from four-player women’s curling. (Full broadcast schedule and complete team lists are attached).

Broadcasting live from the Mattamy Athletic Centre in the heart of Toronto, Sportsnet’s expert curling commentators are set to deliver exclusive live insight and analysis. Veteran play-by-play announcer Rob Faulds returns to the broadcast booth alongside celebrated Canadian Olympic medallists and curling analysts, Kevin Martin, Mike Harris, and Joan McCusker. Olympic gold medallist Jennifer Jones returns to the booth for select broadcasts throughout the event, and Robbie Doherty takes viewers to ice level with rink side interviews.
