Sportsnet’s coverage of the 2013 Canadian Hockey League playoffs continues tonight as the Calgary Hitmen host the Red Deer Rebels in Game 2 of the second round of WHL playoffs at 9:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet ONE. The game will also be joined in progress on Sportsnet Pacific following the Toronto Blue Jays game.
Currently ranked fourth in the WHL’s Eastern Conference, the Brent Sutter-coached Red Deer Rebels come into the second round after sweeping the Prince Albert Raiders in the first round of playoffs. The third-ranked Hitmen successfully moved into the second round following a five-game series against the Swift Current Broncos.
Sportsnet is home to a CHL matchup every Friday night during the regular season and playoffs, the six game Subway Super Series, the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game and the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Saskatoon.
Sportsnet will announce its Friday Night Hockey playoff broadcast schedule on a week-by-week basis.
