The North Returns: Sportsnet Announces 2021-22 Toronto Raptors Broadcast Schedule

The North is coming home. Returning to Canada to claim home court advantage once again, the Toronto Raptors are set to tip-off their 2021-22 season next month – and Sportsnet is bringing fans courtside for all the action. Beginning Friday, Oct. 22, Sportsnet will deliver 41 national broadcasts on Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE and via live stream SN NOW. Additionally, Sportsnet 590 The FAN will air 41 radio broadcasts starting Wednesday, Oct. 20.

Delivering full-court Raptors coverage from October through April, highlights of the Raptors on Sportsnet schedule include:

  • Three meetings with Kyle Lowry and the Miami Heat, starting with a showdown in Miami on January 17 and followed by Lowry’s first two returns to Toronto on February 3 and on April 3
  • Two games against LeBron James and the LA Lakers, including King James’ only trip to Toronto on March 18
  • A New Year’s Eve showdown with Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers in Toronto

Bringing basketball fans closer to the game – and team – they love, Sportsnet’s new-look broadcast team includes:

  • From the Booth – Veteran play-by-play announcer Matt Devlin will deliver the call alongside game analyst and former Raptors point guard Alvin Williams.
  • From Courtside – New to Sportsnet, former Raptors 905 broadcaster Amy Audibert will deliver the latest insights, news and interviews as analyst and sideline reporter.
  • From the Desk Brad Fay returns to anchor pre-, post- and half-time coverage alongside Sherman Hamilton and Danielle Michaud.
  • On Radio – Play-by-play announcer Eric Smith and analyst Paul Jones have on-the-go fans covered with live broadcasts on Sportsnet 590 The FAN.

Delivering the latest headlines, news and content from on and off the court, Sportsnet.caSportsnet App and Sportsnet’s social channels are a must for Canada’s basketball fans.
