Travel+Escape Renews SCAM CITY, BBQ CRAWL, BOUNDLESS and REBEL WITHOUT A KITCHEN for Second Seasons

Following successful sophomore seasons, Travel+Escape announces the return of four popular Canadian original series greenlit for a second season. Returning exclusive original series include: Scam CityBBQ Crawl, Boundless and Rebel Without A Kitchen. In their first seasons all four original productions ranked within Travel+Escape’s top ten titles consistently drawing audiences and engaging fans online.  

“We were amazed at the viewer response to these four original series both on-air and online,” said Marcia Martin, SVP Original Content, Blue Ant Media. “We are building on that momentum for the second seasons, as we up the ante with more high stakes adventures, discoveries and experiences.”

Host Conor Woodman will return for the second season of Scam City (10 x 60 min). From Jerusalem to Hong Kong Woodman once again crosses the globe on a mission to expose the darker side of tourism: the scammers on the fringes of the tourist trade. This series is produced by Handel Productions and shooting has already begun. Exclusive Original Series Premieres Sunday, October 27 – 8PM ET/PT

After the first series of endurance events around the world didn’t break the Boundless boys, Simon Donato and Paul “Turbo” Trebilcock are back for a second season. In Boundless Season 2 (10 x 60 min) watch as they once again push their physical and mental limits by competing in some of the most extreme endurance events on Earth. Produced by HLP+Partners and already in production. This exclusive original series will premiere Spring 2014.

Canada’s BBQ Champion Danielle Dimovski will be back for seconds with BBQ Crawl Season 2 (13 x 30 min). In its first season BBQ Crawl drew the largest audience of any of Travel+Escape’s original productions garnering an unprecedented viewership for an original production on the channel. Season 2 continues the journey in the American South. Kicking off in Nashville Tennessee and ending up in Kansas City Missouri, Danielle will dig deep into BBQ culture and explore new hotspots along the way. Produced by RTR Media, Season 2 will premiere Spring 2014.

Host Matthew Basile, better known as Fidel Gastro, is at it again for season 2 of Rebel Without a Kitchen (13 x 30 min). This time he’s taking his goods on the road, touring across North America as he seeks out all the major street food vendors and festivals from coast to coast, exploring the ground gaining movement that is street food. This exclusive original series will premiere Spring 2014.
