The Force will be felt on air and online as all the might of the Empire and cunning of the Rebellion take over TELETOON and teletoon.com this March 2010.
Beginning March 6, 2010, TELETOON will broadcast all six of the live-action STAR WARSTM movies in narrative chronological order. Viewers can also catch up with the hit television series, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, as episodes from the first season air in a special after school time slot from March 15.
On Air – STAR WARS Movies
Beginning March 6 with Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, TELETOON will air all six live action STAR WARS movies on Saturday nights at 7 p.m. Featuring stunning visual effects, innovative sound design and an epic storyline, the six films follow the rise, fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker.
· March 6, 7 p.m. Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace
Anakin Skywalker is only a child as he embarks upon the journey that will ultimately lead him to his destiny as Darth Vader. Starring Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson. The Saga begins at 7 pm on Saturday, March 6.
· March 13, 7 p.m. Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones
Anakin Skywalker has grown into an accomplished Jedi apprentice, and he faces his most difficult challenge yet as he must choose between his Jedi duty and forbidden love. Starring Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson.
· March 20, 7 p.m. Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith
Torn between loyalty to his mentor and the seductive powers of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker turns his back on the Jedi, thereby completing his journey to the dark side and his transformation into Darth Vader. Starring Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson.
· March 27, 7 p.m. Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope
The Jedi Knights have been exterminated and the Empire rules the galaxy with an iron fist. Seizing his destiny, farm boy Luke Skywalker takes up the challenge to rescue the captured Princess Leia and help the Rebellion overthrow the Empire – with the help of allies such as Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca and droids R2-D2 and C-3PO. Starring Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness and Harrison Ford.
· April 3, 7 p.m. Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back
Seeking to complete his Jedi training, Luke Skywalker goes in search of the mysterious Jedi Master Yoda in the swamps of Dagobah, while Han Solo and Princess Leia struggle to outrun the pursuing Imperial Fleet. In an effort to convert young Skywalker to the dark side, Darth Vader lures Luke into a trap – and reveals a terrible truth about the Skywalker legacy. Starring Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and Harrison Ford. Released in 1980, the film celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
· April 10, 7 p.m. Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi
Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia must travel to Tatooine to free captive Han Solo from the clutches of the vile gangster, Jabba the Hutt. Reunited, the Rebels race to the forest moon of Endor where they launch a desperate attack upon the Empire’s new armored space station – even more powerful than the first dreaded Death Star. The fate of the galaxy rests upon the success of their mission and Luke’s final battle with Darth Vader. Starring Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and Harrison Ford.
On Air – STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS
In addition to the six blockbuster movies, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS will join the TELETOON after school lineup from March 15. Episodes from season one of the hit show, currently the #1 title on the network for kids 2-11*, will air Monday to Friday at 5:30 p.m. giving viewers the chance to revisit Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master Yoda and the heroes of the Galactic Republic as they struggle to defend against the evil Separatist forces led by Count Dooku and General Grievous. New episodes from season two air as part of Superfan Friday, Friday evenings at 8:30 p.m.

Would-be Padawans can aid the Republic by finding a different STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS character on teletoon.com every day in the new teletoon.com game, Jedi Mission. Visitors to the site can also watch full episodes of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS on the teletoon.com video player as well as download special STAR WARS activities and enter two exciting STAR WARS contests.
One lucky TELETOON viewer will win a family trip for 4 to Orlando Florida to attend Star Wars Celebration V, the biggest STAR WARS event in the world, in the Journey to Star Wars Celebration Contest. The winners will receive VIP access to the event which includes special Star Wars exhibits and presentations as well as special appearances by Star Wars cast members and crew. The Journey to Star Wars Celebration Contest begins March 22 and closes April 11.
The STAR WARS Choose Your Destiny Contest allows fans to decide whether they are Jedi or Sith and enter for a chance to win a lightsaber training party for themselves and 10 of their friends. The contest closes on March 21.
