HO, HO, HOLA! A Latin-Infused Christmas of Specials on TLN Telelatino

This year, TLN’s holiday season TV lineup mixes a little tequila with eggnog.  All time latino faves,  Al Pacino, Andrea Bocelli, Lidia Bastianich and more come home to TLN for the holidays!

Movie Highlights:

  •         The Godfather Saga (Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall and Robert DeNiro) combines The Godfather and The Godfather Part II with never-before seen footage, creating a chronological retelling of the rise and fall of the Corleone family.  This seven-hour television extravaganza airs over four consecutive nights beginning December 26th starting nightly at 10 pm.  As well, in keeping with the TLN Holiday tradition, the original three Godfather films will air in their entirety starting December 30th at 2pm.  
  •         Surviving Christmas a comedy about love and family starring Ben Affleck, James Gandolfini (Monday December 10th and 21st at 10pm).
  •         Pinocchio, the perennial family fable of a puppet that would be a boy featuring Oscar Winner Roberto Benigni (Wednesday December 5th at 10pm).
  •         Animated feature Ice Age, with the voice talents of TLN favourite Ray Romano, about a rag-tag band of prehistoric friends who struggle to adapt to a changing world and each other (Monday December 17 at 10pm).
  •         Mucho Movies continues nightly at 10 pm throughout December.  Catch first-run titles including, Agora (Rachel Weisz, Max Minghella), The Air I Breathe (Andy Garcia) and The Girl in the Park (Alessandro Nivola, Sigourney Weaver).

Holiday TV Specials:

  •         Il Divo LIVE in London  Operatic pop group Il Divo perform their hits before a live audience at the London Coliseum.  A concert to warm your soul on those chilly, holiday nights (Sunday December 9th 9pm, Monday December 24th 11pm and Tuesday December 25th 10pm).
  •         Andrea Bocelli & David Foster: My Christmas  Legendary Italian and Canadian music icons team up for an intimate concert featuring all of your favourite holiday classics (Sunday December 23rd 9pm, Monday December 24th 10pm and Tuesday December 25th 11pm).
  •         Lidia’s Holiday Tables & Traditions  Celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich and special guest Stanley Tucci explore festive food traditions from around the world.  Buon appetito! (Sunday December 16th9pm and Monday December 31st 9pm).

Sundays in December:

  •         Sunday Favourites  All of your favourite Sunday shows, including Vine TalkAntonio Carluccio’s Italian Feasts, and Two Greedy Italians, continue at their regular times throughout December, so you won’t miss a thing!
  •         Sunday Night Specials – Beginning December 2nd and continuing for four weeks, TLN brings you special, holiday programming at 9pm Sundays.
