The CFL’s SCOTIABANK LABOUR DAY WEEKEND action scored a huge audience for TSN, as preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada confirms that an average of 1.34 million viewers* watched Sunday’s match-up featuring Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan.
This marks the highest average audience ever recorded for a regular season CFL game on TSN. Sunday’s match-up also delivered the highest regular season average audience on record for a CFL game (since 1994).
Audience levels peaked at 2.1 million viewers at 6:59 p.m. ET, as the Blue Bombers drove towards the end zone with 21 seconds left in the fourth quarter and the Roughriders up by 10 points.
Friday’s match-up featuring B.C. @ Montreal was watched by an average audience of 914,000 on TSN.
