Historic SCOTIABANK TOUCHDOWN ATLANTIC Game Headlines Weekend CFL Coverage on TSN

The CFL ON TSN hits the gridiron in Moncton, NB, this weekend for SCOTIABANK TOUCHDOWN ATLANTIC as the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Toronto Argonauts at Moncton Stadium in the CFL’s first-ever regular season game in Atlantic Canada.

TSN’s exclusive coverage of the historic game airs live and in High Definition on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 11:30 a.m. ET. The game will also be available on-demand at TSN.ca.

Brian Williams hosts TSN’s live coverage from Moncton Stadium alongside TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor, who joins Williams at field level. TSN’s Gemini-Award winning broadcast team of Chris Cuthbert and Glen Suitor provide play-by-play commentary and game analysis, respectively, while Paul Hollingsworth reports from the sidelines during the game.

CFL ON TSN host Dave Randorf is live from the TSN Studio for pre-game and halftime shows featuring the popular CFL ON TSN panel with Chris Schultz, Matt Dunigan and Jock Climie. SPORTSCENTRE also covers SCOTIABANK TOUCHDOWN ATLANTIC from all the angles with reporter Sheri Forde filing reports from the Maritimes all week.

In addition to the action on the field in Moncton, TSN airs two features that take a closer look at football in Atlantic Canada. On Friday, Williams joins WENDY’S CFL ON TSN FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL from Moncton with an in-depth look at how local RCMP officer Travise Dow is reviving grassroots football in Amherst, NS, during the SAMSUNG CFL ON TSN PRE-GAME SHOW.

On Sunday, Naylor examines the viability of Moncton as a potential market for a CFL franchise after speaking to local politicians and business leaders in the city.

SCOTIABANK TOUCHDOWN ATLANTIC caps off a full weekend of CFL ON TSN tilts, as the network has a total of four games beginning with WENDY’S CFL ON TSN FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL on Friday, Sept. 24 featuring Montreal @ Winnipeg at 7:30 p.m. ET.

TSN then has doubleheader action on Saturday, Sept. 25 with Saskatchewan @ Hamilton at 6:30 p.m. ET immediately followed by B.C. @ Calgary at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Finally, quarter-final events for TSN’s international award-winning million-dollar giveaway, Wendy’s Kick for a Million, take place on Saturday, Sept. 25 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary and on Sunday, Sept. 26 at Moncton University. Highlights and results from the quarter-finals will be featured during the games, with both quarter-final events available on demand at TSN.ca. The winners of each event will move on to the semifinal on October 8 at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton. The final event takes place on October 15 at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
