TSN and TSN2 are home to the best sports talk and news shows this fall with a new programming lineup dedicated to all the latest news, information and highlights from the world of sports.
TSN debuts its new early evening programming lineup tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 14), featuring OFF THE RECORD WITH MICHAEL LANDSBERG (5-5:30 p.m. ET), PARDON THE INTERRUPTION (5:30-6 p.m. ET), and a newly-expanded edition of Canada’s top-rated daily sportscast SPORTSCENTRE from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET (see TSN early evening programming lineup below).
TSN2 keeps viewers up-to-date with the premiere of the SPORTSCENTRE MORNING RUSH – a 15 minute customized edition of the network’s flagship sports news program featuring all the best highlights, news and notes from the night before. SPORTSCENTRE MORNING RUSH premieres today and airs daily from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET on TSN2. Full 60-minute editions of SPORTSCENTRE continue to air daily from 2 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET on TSN.
Also on TSN2 are AROUND THE HORN airing weekdays at 5 p.m. ET and JIM ROME IS BURNING airing Tuesday to Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 14). OFF THE RECORD WITH MICHAEL LANDSBERG returns to wrap up TSN2’s sports talk block weekdays at 6 p.m. ET (see TSN2 early evening programming lineup below).
TSN’s new weekday early evening programming lineup is as follows:
· 5 p.m. ET – OFF THE RECORD WITH MICHAEL LANDSBERG: TSN’s long-time sports talk show moves to its new 5 p.m. ET timeslot to be Canada’s first source for big sporting news and issues of the day. Now in his 14th season as host of OTR, Michael Landsberg gives Canadians the best in jock talk with his unique in-your-face style. Landsberg continues to be joined by some of the most famous and intriguing guests from the world of sports and beyond. On Tuesday, Sept. 14, OTR kicks off its season with a punch with current Welterweight champion UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre. In addition, OTR airs weekdays at 6 p.m. ET on TSN2 and is available on-demand at TSN.ca.
· 5:30 p.m. ET – PARDON THE INTERRUPTION: TSN airs ESPN’s critically-acclaimed talk show PARDON THE INTERRUPTION weekdays at 5:30 p.m. ET, immediately following OTR. Longtime Washington Post columnists Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon face off each day in a 30-minute headed debate devoted exclusively to the stories making headlines in the world of sports.
· 6 p.m. ET – SPORTSCENTRE: Veteran TSN anchor Rod Smith hosts an expanded one-hour edition of Canada’s most-watched sportscast featuring all the news and highlights from across Canada and around the world. SPORTSCENTRE has all the newsmakers of the day along with more in-depth insight, specialized coverage and enhanced analysis of the day’s top stories from TSN’s team of experts and Insiders. SPORTSCENTRE was honoured last year with a Gemini Award for Best Sportscast.
TSN2’s new weekday early evening programming lineup is as follows:
· 5 p.m. ET – AROUND THE HORN: Host Tony Reali and four reporters from across the U.S. meet on TSN2 to debate sports’ hottest stories via satellite, with Reali awarding points to reporters for well-made arguments. AROUND THE HORN airs weekdays at 5 p.m. ET.
· 5:30 p.m. ET – JIM ROME IS BURNING: TV and talk radio veteran Jim Rome shares his rapid-fire dialogue, hard-hitting analysis, and no-holds-barred opinions in his 30-minute sports talk show immediately following AROUND THE HORN. JIM ROME IS BURNING airs Tuesday to Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET on TSN2.
· 6 p.m. ET – OFF THE RECORD WITH MICHAEL LANDSBERG: Host Landsberg wraps up TSN2’s new early evening programming lineup with his sports talk show weekdays at 6 p.m. ET on TSN2.
