TSN heads to Calgary to deliver on the button coverage as six Canadian teams hit the sheets to take on Europe’s best at the 2015 WORLD FINANCIAL GROUP CONTINENTAL CUP. Live coverage of the CONTINENTAL CUP beginstomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 8) at 10:30 a.m. ET on TSN with the women’s team competition and culminates on Sunday, Jan. 11 with coverage of the competition’s skins games that could end up deciding this year’s winner (see below for complete broadcast schedule).

Guest analyst and Olympic silver medallist Cheryl Bernard joins TSN’s acclaimed team of play-by-play announcer Vic Rauter and analyst Russ Howard, a two-time Brier champion and 2006 Olympic gold medallist in the broadcast booth, along with rinkside commentator Cathy Gauthier at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park.
The CONTINENTAL CUP format features three men’s and three women’s teams for Team Canada challenging Team Europe and earning points for wins or ties in team games, mixed doubles, singles, mixed skins, and standard skins games.
The field at the 2015 WORLD FINANCIAL GROUP CONTINENTAL CUP features every men’s and women’s curling medallist from Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Jennifer Jones, Sochi 2014 gold medallist, headlines a strong contingent of women’s teams that includes two-time defending Scotties champion and world silver medallist Rachel Homan and 2014 CANADA CUP winner Val Sweeting. Team Europe features Sochi 2014 silver medallist Margaretha Sigfridsson of Sweden, defending European champion Anna Sidorova of Russia, and Sochi 2014 bronze medallist Eve Muirhead of Scotland.
The men’s competition, headed up by Sochi 2014 gold medallist Brad Jacobs, includes a star-studded field of John Morris, and 2014 CANADA CUP winner Mike McEwen going up against defending 2014 World Champion Thomas Ulsrud of Norway, defending European champion and Sochi 2014 bronze medallist Niklas Edin of Sweden, and Sochi 2014 silver medallist David Murdoch of Scotland.
