TSN’s exclusive live coverage of WIMBLEDON includes both the men’s and women’s early round matches, round of 16, quarter-finals and semifinals from the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (see complete broadcast schedule below).
On top of TSN’s live broadcast coverage, TSN.ca has exclusive Canadian live streaming of select matches from every round including both the men’s and women’s finals. Canada’s industry-leading sports website will also feature a Slam Tracker real-time scoreboard that allows fans to follow any live match in detail. Fans on-the-go can also visit TSN.ca or download TSN MOBILE apps for BlackBerry, iPhone and iPad for all the latest news and highlights from WIMBLEDON.
The men’s side includes 20-year-old Thornhill, ON native Milos Raonic, playing at his first WIMBLEDON. Seeded #31 at the tournament, Raonic has the distinction of being Canada’s highest-seeded men’s singles player ever at WIMBLEDON. The men’s doubles include Canadians Daniel Nestor, on the second-seeded team alongside Belarus’ Max Mirnyi, and Adil Shamasdin, playing with Chris Guccione from Australia. Top-seeded Rafael Nadal enters WIMBLEDON ready to defend his title against high-ranked players Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and local favourite Andy Murray – recent winner of the grass-court Queen’s Club tournament.
Over on the women’s side, Aleksandra Wozniak from Blainville, QB and Vancouver native Rebecca Marino will both compete at WIMBLEDON. All eyes will be on the Williams sisters as they both return to their first Grand Slam since being sidelined with injuries. Serena is the defending WIMBLEDON champion and four-time tournament winner while Venus is a five-time WIMBLEDON winner. Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki enters WIMBLEDON looking for her first Major title, while 2011 FRENCH OPEN champion Li Na looks for her second Grand Slam title of the season.
