Commissioned by TSN and produced by Alberta’s Aquila Productions in association with TSN, OIL CHANGE features exclusive access inside the Edmonton Oilers organization, including never-before-seen footage of Oilers’ team president Kevin Lowe and General Manager Steve Tambellini conferring on which young star – Taylor Hall or Tyler Seguin – will become the new face of the proud franchise.
The documentary follows the Oilers as they embark on their rebuilding process – through the spring of 2010 all the way to the eve of the NHL Entry Draft. Footage includes personal commentary from both Hall and Seguin as they deal with the pressure of the Memorial Cup and NHL Entry Draft Combine.
