TSN is Home to Every Game of the 2021 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP, Beginning Christmas Day

For the 31st year, TSN is Canada’s home for the nation’s favourite holiday hockey tradition, delivering every game of the 2021 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP, beginning Christmas Day, live from Edmonton (TSN’s full World Juniors broadcast schedule is available here). TSN drops the puck today (Tuesday, Dec. 22) with live coverage of every pre-competition game, including Team Canada vs. Russia on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 6 p.m. ET.

TSN today announced the acclaimed broadcast team bubbled in Edmonton throughout the tournament as well as the extensive coverage on Canada’s Sports Leader.

Host James Duthie and Hockey Insider and leading junior hockey expert Bob McKenzie are in the bubble in Edmonton along with analyst Craig Button to follow Team Canada’s progress in Group A, with analyst Jeff O’Neill joining the network’s World Juniors panel remotely. The panel delivers news and analysis throughout the medal round and Gold Medal Game, and tees up the tournament during the 2021 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: PREVIEW SHOW airing Christmas Eve (Thursday, Dec. 24) at 7 p.m. ET.

TSN’s award-winning broadcast team of Gord Miller and Ray Ferraro deliver the call for all Team Canada games, as well as the medal round and Gold Medal Game. Handling broadcast duties for the preliminary rounds are play-by-play commentator Dennis Beyak and Button through to the quarter-finals. Laura Diakun hosts all pre-competition games and additional preliminary round and quarter-final games, live from the Edmonton bubble, with Ryan Rishaug delivering reports from rinkside throughout the tournament.

TSN’s flagship sports news program, SPORTSCENTRE, delivers breaking news, highlights, and daily updates from reporter Mark Masters, who is in the bubble to cover Team Canada. SPORTSCENTRE also features daily analysis from TSN’s World Juniors panel.

TSN Radio once again produces the World Junior Radio Network presented by Skip the Dishes, with 20 stations across Canada joining forces to bring Canadians live radio coverage of the World Juniors. Hosted by Jon Abbott, with Blake Price providing play-by-play alongside analyst Dave Tomlinson, the network features every Team Canada game plus a slate of quarter-final matchups, both semifinals, and the Bronze and Gold Medal Games.
